GamerSync Community Guidelines

Welcome to GamerSync

GamerSync was created with one simple, yet powerful mission — to unite gaming communities. To make this happen, we've rolled out a suite of features designed to help your community chat, organize, share content, recruit, and compete seamlessly.

We know that thriving communities are built on the foundation of empowerment and safety. Players should feel free to express themselves without fear of abuse. That's why we've crafted a set of Community Guidelines. These guidelines break down how our Terms of Service impact our users and how we can foster diverse and vibrant conversations across all our communities.

Overview

You own the content you post on GamerSync. However, you can only post content you have created or have the right to post. Be yourself and keep our community vibrant and unique! Repeated abuse of our community guidelines will result in your account being suspended or terminated.

Guidelines

To maintain a safe and fair community, certain content and activities are prohibited on our platform, categorized as follows:

• Violence and Harassment
  • Incitement & Promotion of Violence: Content or activities that promote, celebrate, or instigate real-world violence are prohibited. This includes graphic depictions, credible threats, or calls for violence.
  • Dangerous Organizations: Representation or promotion of organizations involved in real-world violence or criminal activities, such as terrorist groups or gangs, is not allowed.
  • Targeting Individuals or Groups: Harassment, including threats, sharing private information, and unwanted contact, is prohibited.
• Objectionable Content
  • Hate Speech: Attacks or dehumanization based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sexual orientation, gender, or disability are banned.
  • Graphic Content: Depictions of real-world violence, death, torture, or sexual abuse are not permitted.
  • Sexual Content: Distribution of explicit content involving minors, non-consensual explicit content, or content promoting sexual violence is prohibited.
  • Animal Cruelty: Content depicting real-world animal abuse is banned.
  • Extreme Insensitivity: Celebrating cruelty or mocking the suffering of victims of violence, disaster, or harassment is not allowed.
• Criminal Activity
  • Regulated Goods & Substances: Production or exchange of weaponry, drugs, and regulated substances is prohibited.
  • Piracy & Fraudt: Distribution of pirated content, cracked accounts, or participation in financial schemes is not permitted.
• Hacking & Cheating
  • Game Hacks & Exploits: Promoting or utilizing cheats, hacks, or exploits in competitive games is prohibited.
  • Account Trading & Boosting: Trading or selling account login credentials or soliciting boosting services is not allowed.

Content Removal and Disabling or Terminating Your Account

Failing to adhere to GamerSync Community Guidelines will result in the suspension and/or termination of your GamerSync account. GamerSync, Inc. reserves the right to remove content or information that violates these Terms of Use, our Community Guidelines, or as required by law. We can refuse or stop providing all or part of the Service to you (including terminating or disabling your account) to protect our community or services, or if you create risk or legal exposure for us, engage in graphic violence, impersonation, unlawful conduct, or harassment, violate these Terms of Use or Community Guidelines, repeatedly infringe others' intellectual property rights, or as permitted or required by law. If you believe your account has been terminated in error, contact our support team at legal@gamersync.gg.

Reporting Users

GamerSync users can report or block content to protect our community and its services. You can report specific violations directly from an individual post, including spam, abusive or harmful content, inappropriate ads, self-harm, nudity, and impersonation. Our support team will review your report and take necessary action, up to terminating the user's account.

Responsibility

Users are accountable for the content they publish on our services. Any content that breaches our Community Guidelines may be removed without prior notice, and users responsible for such content may face warnings, restrictions on feature access, temporary or indefinite suspensions, or permanent bans.

Community owners are accountable for all content at the community level within their communities. This includes, but is not limited to, community banners, logos, names, custom URLs, About descriptions, announcements, and roles. We expect community owners to diligently remove user-generated content from their communities that violates GamerSync’s Community Guidelines in a timely manner. Failure to adhere to GamerSync’s Community Guidelines may lead to warnings, restrictions on feature access, or permanent community disbandment.

Communities that promote, encourage, or otherwise officially feature content that violates our Community Guidelines may be removed without notice. Members of communities that flagrantly violate our Community Guidelines may receive warnings, restrictions on feature access, temporary or indefinite suspensions, or permanent bans. If you believe a community you have joined is in violation of GamerSync’s Community Guidelines, please leave the community immediately.

Please note: that these guidelines are not comprehensive. Content or activities that may violate our Terms of Service may not be explicitly mentioned in this document.
